Pitching Insights

Alamin’s coverage leans heavily toward entertainment coverage, especially film and TV, with a strong preference for interview-led pieces and character- or storyline-driven angles. He seems most likely to respond to pitches that offer timely access to cast members, creators, or other people directly involved in buzzy releases, especially when there’s a fresh angle tied to representation or a notable plot moment.

He also appears open to thoughtful commentary on cultural shifts in screen storytelling, so pitches with a clear hook around current entertainment trends or a timely release may work well. Given his local focus on Edgewater, keep any outreach relevant to that area when possible.
