Maharashtra's FDA has suspended Blink Commerce Private Limited's food business licence at its Pagao facility in Bhiwandi after it failed to provide verifiable proof of disposal of 18,405 expired and unsaleable food items worth Rs 32.71 lakh. An FIR was registered on October 23.

A 32-year-old woman suffering three strokes within a month was diagnosed with hereditary Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP), a rare genetic blood disorder, at KIMS Hospitals, Thane. Doctors identified the condition after detecting low platelets, anaemia and kidney dysfunction. Following plasma exchange treatment, her condition improved, and she was discharged within eight days.

The Maharashtra government has approved 14,787 personal surplus posts for National Health Mission contractual employees with at least 10 years of service, involving annual expenditure of ₹983.80 crore. Eligible workers will receive government-equivalent pay scales, basic pay protection and specified allowances.

The Indian Patent Office rejected TB Alliance's patent application for a combination antibacterial regimen after objections over novelty and inventive step.
