It’s so difficult to let go of preconceived notions in fantasy football. I struggle with it myself at times. We don’t want to give up too early on guys we THOUGHT were going to be good. And it’s hard to accept that some of these breakouts that we didn’t expect are here to stay. That’s just human nature.

The game is simple here, folks. We are looking for fantasy football sleepers. Not just any sleepers, but ones who could break out THIS week. And the rules are equally simple. We can only pick a couple of players at each position. And we pick have to be rostered in less than 40% of leagues on Yahoo.

Whether you are out in first place or clinging to life in your fantasy football league, one thing is true going into Week 8 - you CANNOT take your foot off the gas. There is no quitting, and there is no cruise control. The difference-making players are out there and, especially when it comes to rookies, they might just be getting started now.

The tight end position is strange sometimes in DFS (and no, we aren’t talking about Brenton Strange, though we do like him this week). Some weeks, there are like two guys that we actually like. In others, it feels like there are a TON of viable options and we have almost too many choices. This week feels more like the latter.
