Later this week, Nashville-based indie outfit The Sewing Club are set to share their first full-length album, Sew. The band debuted in 2024 with a pair of EPs, The Sewing Club and Care, crafting a hooky and grunge-flecked style of indie rock. Sew pulls from a similarly fuzzed-out vein, stacked with distortion and hazy melodicism that recalls ‘90s alternative touchstones like Veruca Salt and modern antecedents like Rocket, Wishy, or Slow Pulp.

Forget Them Wendy is the new indie pop project from Newcastle-based singer/songwriter Laura James and Edinburgh-born, London-based producer and guitarist Oliver Price. The pair debuted last year with a self-titled EP and a steady string of subsequent singles, pulling on the dreamy lacquered melodicism of The Cranberries and blown-out guitar layers of Smashing Pumpkins. They returned last month with their bleary acoustic cut, “Apple Pie,” and today Forget Them Wendy are sharing their latest track, “Next Big Thing,” premiering with Under the Radar.
