Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link: Goods Vehicles Banned, Cars Get 100 kmph Speed Limit

Pune: In a major move to regulate traffic and enhance safety on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway's Missing Link, the Maharashtra Traffic Police have imposed permanent restrictions on vehicle categories and speed limits on the new stretch. From November 1, goods-carrying vehicles, including light commercial vehicles such as pickup vans and Tata Ace, will be prohibited from using the Missing Link, while vehicles transporting hazardous materials will also be barred from the route.
