MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - Marietta's newly redesigned levee opened to the public this week, ahead of an official ribbon cutting next week and the 50th Anniversary Ohio River Sternwheel Festival the following weekend.

The Wood County Assessor’s Office announced last month that about 107 properties were affected after the state auditor’s office failed to send two months of redemption records back in early 2024.
