Colin Warren-Hicks appears especially responsive to pitches tied to live happenings, local arts and entertainment, and timely cultural news. He often covers community-facing events, venue news, and personalities in music, theater, and film, so outreach is strongest when it includes news value, a fresh angle, or access to someone directly involved.
He also seems to favor stories with a strong local-relevance hook, especially when there’s a clear public-interest or behind-the-scenes element. If you have a timely announcement, a notable milestone, or an interview tied to a performance, screening, festival, or venue change, that’s likely the best fit.
His coverage is nationally framed but rooted in the United States, so pitches should keep that context in mind.
