Pitching Insights

Cory McCord's reporting leans heavily towards crime and breaking news stories in the local area, with a particular focus on Houston. Sources offering insights into ongoing criminal investigations or developments in law enforcement procedures would likely be of interest to him.

Given his strong emphasis on evolving and breaking news stories, Cory is most responsive to pitches related to unfolding events that have significant impacts on the community. If you have expert knowledge about local crime trends, law enforcement practices, or updates on high-profile cases within Texas or Houston, your pitch may grab Cory’s attention.

Considering his interest in local politics as well as entertainment news related to sports (Houston Texans), sources with expertise in these areas could also find success when pitching relevant story ideas.
