West Virginia Wesleyan opened its fall golf season at the Vulcan Invitational, with the men placing 11th and the women competing individually. Caleb Fairhurst led the Bobcats at 7-over, while McKenna Knotts paced the Lady Bobcats at 31-over.

Buckhannon-Upshur sophomore Emma Pingley shot a 91 to place 17th among 63 golfers at the WVSSAC Girls Golf Invitational. She improved six spots from last year's state debut despite struggling off the tee.
