SHREWSBURY – The Shrewsbury Select Board on October 13 voted, 4-0, to send a letter to Amazon requesting that the rollout of its drone delivery service be paused until the community’s concerns are resolved. The program would be based in Westborough, but drones would fly overhead into Shrewsbury – and other neighboring towns – for delivery.
A building at 17 West Main Street – formerly home to Aero Coffee Roasters and, most recently, Brazilian Meat Market – has been acquired by a new owner, Hallan Dornelas, according to the Northborough Planning Department. Dornelas is currently rebranding the store as “Texas Meat Market.”
