Despite its name, Beer Hut Brewery isn’t in a hut. It was once, but it’s grown a bit since then. Nowadays you’ll find the brewery and taproom in much larger premises, tucked down a lane in the Co Down town of Kilkeel. Inside, the walls are lined with fermentation tanks where the beer is made during the week, and on Saturdays, the taproom serves their brews on draught, the aroma of baking pizza fills the air, and the place buzzes with chat.
