Although she still paid her portion, I still feel disrespected by this decision. She said she needed space to work on her mental health, which I completely understand, but she had just gone on another trip -- and also, what better place is there to heal than Costa Rica? I've also been struggling with bad depression, so her reasoning didn't feel justified to me. It felt like a cop out. I don't know whether I want to keep this person in my life.
