AMITE — A tip from the public has allowed the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office to make an arrest in connection with a tractor theft investigation from May, the agency announced on Thursday.

SPRING CREEK — Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested a teenager they allege threw a large drink cup at an oncoming semi-truck last month and severely injured the driver.

WATSON — Former Live Oak High School defensive backs coach Stepfan Henderson has pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to indecent behavior and molestation charges. Henderson, 34, was arrested in May by Livingston Parish deputies and charged with indecent behavior and molestation of a juvenile - forcible fondling. A school district spokesperson at the time told WBRZ that Henderson was placed on leave in mid-April after officials received a complaint of misconduct. Henderson worked at the school district as a business English and technical writing teacher, as well as an assistant football coach, for two years. The district said it chose to not renew Henderson's employment contract, which expired at the end of last school year.
