The Toronto Raptors won the match against the Charlotte Hornets, but they were unable to cover the -2.5 spread. They started out well, but the Hornets took the lead in the second half, and the Raptors had to claw their way back for the victory. The New York Knicks finally put up a great offensive performance. They went over the team’s proposition midway through the fourth quarter. They also shook their losing streak against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers.

The Indiana Pacers finally delivered with their first win in almost a month. Thus giving Rick Carlisle his 1,000th NBA victory as a Head Coach. They had to do it with late-game heroics, including an inbound steal with less than 15 seconds in the game. The Charlotte -4 could not hold up on the second of back-to-back games.

Jamal Murray was a last second scratch in the game against the Atlanta Hawks. Thus, his proposition was voided. The Brooklyn Nets were held in check by the Los Angeles Clippers, and Michael Porter was unable to score enough points to cover his point proposition. In fact he was 7.5 points away from the line all together, and wasn’t the team’s leading scorer.

The 2026 fantasy football season is finally upon us as Week 1 of the NFL begins on Wednesday, September 9th. That means our favorite IDPs will be recording tough tackles, incredible interceptions, fantastic fumbles, terrific touchdowns, and helping the #FAmily score several fantasy football points. Normally, there will be a quick recap to discuss how the suggested players performed; with this being week 1, the focus is directed at the fantasy football week 1 IDP overview.

Week 1 was full of high scores, including fantasy football. And IDPs were not an exception to the rule. There were three touchdowns (TD) from IDPs; a veteran, a rookie, and a second year phenomenon, All of which were mentioned in the Fantasy Alarm Draft Kit. Before we get to Week 2, a quick review of last week’s IDP Report.

Week 2 has concluded, and some may say it was a terrible week for fantasy football. Those jabronis do not play IDP, or they would be raving about the outstanding week that just took place. The proof is in the pudding, and the IDP Report whipped up another FAmily-size serving of goodness.

Last week gave us a few big performances from IDPs new to the scene. There are also IDPs that have proven to be consistent, a list of injuries (listed at the end of the IDP Report), and a select few are making an early case for Defensive Player of the Year. Let’s take a look back at last week’s IDP Report before getting into week 4 of the fantasy football season.

Week 5 is the first week with the dreaded b-word. Bye weeks begin, and some say this is where the real strategy of fantasy football starts. Fantasy Alarm has every inch of the fantasy football gridiron covered, and the FAmily will have advantages in Week 5. From Dallas’ defensive pressure on Thursday to the high-volume Monday night game between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams. The teams on bye during Week 5 are the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs. Get players from those teams out of your IDP lineups.

Week 6 is upon us, and that implies 33% of the fantasy football season has come and gone. It will be an active waiver wire for Week 6, with four teams on bye and nine of the top ten Week 5 scorers being owned in 24% or less of IDP leagues. The teams on bye are the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Minnesota Vikings. Get IDPs on those teams out of the lineup. The IDPs who performed well will be discussed in the risers, waiver wire, and matchups to capitalize on in week 6. But first, the IDP report card.

Last week was bizarre. One that put several fantasy football managers into a panic or caused doubt about players they thought they could trust. There were twenty-one interceptions and 16 forced fumbles heading into Monday Night Football… The defenses played well. There are four teams on bye week 7. Those teams are: Buffalo Bills,
