You can bang your head until 2, Saturday afternoon with a FREE car show featuring an impressive collection of classic, vintage, custom & specialty vehicles. Don't worry, it's Metal on the Missouri, so keep on trucking...several "local" food trucks will be on stand-by for lunch. Sip & Drool's a fundraiser for the Bright Eyes Animal Shelter in Cut Bank. The Sip & Drool will run tomorrow (Sat) night from 5 to 8, at the Choteau City Park Bandshell. You're invited to stop by & enjoy some LIVE music by the UKULadies, the Loose Mules, Eric "Fingers: Ray & Badger Creek. There'll be food, beverages, a 50/50 raffle & "Buck a Duck." Why not buy a rubber duck because "some" are marked with a special prize. Don't worry about a thing, well mannered dogs on leashes are welcome to this family-friendly event. The Dutton American Legion, on Main, in Dutton, will be packed to the brim with produce, breads & other gifts with tons of fun between 5 & 8 o'clock. There'll be kids crafts, a bouncy water slide, face painting, yard games INCLUDING corn hole & horseshoes! Don't worry about a thing, but bring along a BIG appetite. There'll be burgers & hot dogs & brats with creamy ice cream to wash it all down the hatch. The American Legion Bar will be open inside for adult refreshments too. A Montana Veterans Affairs Service Officer, will be in both Conrad, & Choteau, this coming Tuesday, the 8th. The officer will be ON DUTY in Conrad, Tuesday morning, from 9 to 11 o'clock, in the Pondera County Courthouse. Tuesday afternoon, the officer will be available in Choteau, from 12:30 until 3, in the Teton County Courthouse Annex. VA Officers are trained professionals who help veterans, families & dependents access earned benefits like healthcare, disability, education & housing by guiding them through complex application processes, filing claims & representing them in appeals, often working for organizations like the VFW, or state/county governments to connect veterans with crucial support & resources. And here I thought reading the basketball brackets was a tough task....
