USDA trimmed the 2026 corn crop in Friday’s September World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates, cutting the national yield 2.2 bushels to 178.5 and taking 213 million bushels off production. The result is a new-crop carryout of 1.567 billion bushels, down 86 million from August, and a season-average farm price raised 30 cents to $4.80.
