Northwestern Local Schools parents are raising concerns about students at the Junior Senior High School being told Thursday, Oct. 15, to lift their shirts in most classrooms to allow the administration to search for cell phones.

The Northwestern Teachers Association supports an investigation into a “disruptive, invasive search of students for cell phones” last week that allegedly involved an administrator telling students to lift their shirts to look for cell phones.

Some students and teachers at Northwestern Junior Senior High School are rejecting the results of an internal investigation into administrators who allegedly forced students to lift their shirts during a cell phone sweep.
