GREENVILLE, S.C. — Canyon Partners Real Estate LLC has provided a $48 million loan for the refinancing of NorthPointe Apartments, a 286-unit community in Greenville. Walker & Dunlop's Capital Markets Real Estate Finance team arranged the loan on behalf of the borrower, a joint venture between ECI Group and Central Realty Holdings.

GAINESVILLE, FLA. — 908 Group has broken ground on Chapter House UF, a 684-bed student housing development located at 920 S.W. Depot Ave. in Gainesville near the University of Florida campus. The project is being developed in partnership with Batson-Cook Development Co. and an undisclosed, Fortune 100 insurance company. The community will offer 219 units alongside 9,000 square feet of shared amenity space. The development team includes ARCO/Murray, Humphreys & Partners Architects and NV5. Pacific Life provided an undisclosed amount of construction financing. Asset Living has been tapped to manage Chapter House UF upon completion, which is scheduled for summer 2028.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — CBRE has brokered the sale of Renaissance Plaza, a 19-story office tower located at 230 N. Elm St. in downtown Greensboro. Appian Investments purchased the 287,464-square-foot building from Richardson Properties for $22 million. Patrick Gildea, Matt Smith and Greg Wilson of CBRE represented the seller in the transaction. Richardson Properties invested $4 million in renovations to the office tower in 2023.
