Alleged members of a cocaine-trafficking ring involving Penn State University students and two student fraternities appear at Centre County court for their preliminary hearings.

Prosecutors said Agostino Abbatiello sold cocaine worth hundreds of thousands in court Wednesday, and that's just through electronic transactions they've tracked so far.

| It started out with a few friends chipping in $50 each to buy a plastic baggy of cocaine from a Philadelphia source in 2022, according to Lars Zeepvat, a former student at Penn State.

The father told his son's best friend to not tell anybody in connection to the Penn State student cocaine investigation. The friend took the stand Wednesday to tell the world.

Agostino “Agui” Abbatiello had ambitions higher than just doing a bit of blow with his bros, according to former Penn State student, adding the accused drug ring leader got hooked on the money and popularity that came with being the biggest cocaine dealer in State College from 2023 to 2025.

The Penn State student charged in a cocaine trafficking ring had previously been denied bail, a move his attorney called “unconstitutional.”

Lars Zeepvat and Agostino Abbatiello both got into cocaine for the same reason: a good time with their State College friends, Zeepvat testified in Centre County Court on Wednesday.

He’s accused of various sex crimes against four people, some who were minors at the time, stretching back more than a decade.
