Glass and glass product manufacturing prices edged higher in September, continuing an uneven trend of monthly price changes. The Producer Price Index (PPI) for glass and glass product manufacturing, which measures prices received by domestic producers, rose 0.3% in September, following no change in August and a 1% increase in July. Prices for the industry category remained 4.6% higher than a year earlier, according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics.
