Tomorrow 1 or 2 out of 10 of your friends will see any rain. Most of us will stay dry. That means, even with daily storm chances, not everyone will see rain every day.

There definitely is a chance for a shower and/or storm tomorrow, so I advise you to watch the skies for dark clouds. If, and when you hear thunder, head indoors until the storm passes.

I expect the continuation of spotty showers with a few embedded storms in the mix across the area on Monday, but that should be the last of any significant rain for a bit.

Take this as your warning- rain is coming, and at times, it will come as heavy downpours. Tuesday through Thursday looks to have the heaviest rain.

Some storms will be able to put down 2"+ of rain in a short amount of time, which is why we are concerned about the flood threat.

The last bit of rain is likely to fall tonight, and again in the first half of the day tomorrow. I'd expect a few more storms early Sunday, between 6 AM and 12 PM.

Don't expect much in the way of rain this week, other than the small chance for a sea breeze shower or storm, and because it will be drier, it will also be hotter.

By the weekend, winds could increase to 30 mph or more, which is more of a concern for boaters. We'll let you know if the National Weather Service decides to issue any coastal advisories.
