Turin (or Torino in Italian) is the capital of the region of Piedmont in northwestern Italy. I’ve been to many parts of Italy, including an epic road trip in Piedmont, but somehow, I never thought of Turin. As a birthday gift to myself – I do this every year – I decided to visit Turin for three days. The idea was to combine the city centre with a few excursions to the surrounding area. As I did my pre-trip research, I discovered that three days was insufficient to cover the places I wanted to visit. There are so many things to see and do in Turin in the city centre alone!
