A Fishers woman facing a felony drug charge that carried up to 16 years in prison admitted guilt to a lesser charge in a plea agreement that settled her case in Hancock Circuit Court.

Last week Attorney General Todd Rokita announced a 287(g) partnership with ICE to strengthen immigration enforcement and FAIRNESS Act implementation. However, the program is not one most county sheriff offices are taking part in yet, including Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

One of the women arrested following a January robbery at the GetGo gas station in New Palestine made an initial court appearance this week.

GREENFIELD — Leaders of Greenfield-Hancock Animal Management put out a plea Friday afternoon, saying they are in urgent need of cat and kitten foster homes after taking in 51 felines from one home.

A McCordsville man facing 17 child pornography charges has entered into a plea agreement with the state in Hancock Circuit Court. It will, however, be up to Judge Scott Sirk as to if the deal, agreed upon by both sides in the case, is accepted. A sentencing hearing has been set for Dec. 3.
