Volvo India has launched the EX90 electric SUV at Rs 1.26 crore, ex-showroom. It is now the Swedish brand's new flagship. The EX90 costs Rs 27.2 lakh more than the petrol XC90. That gap makes sense, though. The EX90 is far more modern and packed with tech, while the current XC90 has been around for over a decade. Volvo has an introductory offer for bookings made before December 31, 2026. Every EX90 buyer gets an 11kW home charger, a 3-year service package and an assured buyback of 65 percent after 3 years.

MG has launched the Windsor EV Indulge Edition at Rs 17.89 lakh, ex-showroom. It brings a new colour, fresh seat upholstery and extra comfort features over the standard model. You can only get it with the smaller 38kWh battery. MG offers the Indulge Edition with a curated accessory range. It includes a rear sunshade, 3D mats, chrome grille accents, bumper corner protectors, body side moulding and a leather key cover.

Jeep revealed the Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Limited Edition last month. Now it has announced the price: Rs 73.55 lakh. That is Rs 1.25 lakh more than the Wrangler Rubicon, which this special edition is based on. Jeep brought only 25 units to India, and they have all been sold out.

Hyundai has fully revealed the new Bayon midsize SUV. It will announce the price on October 26. The Bayon will sit between the Venue and the Creta in Hyundai's lineup, and it is aimed squarely at the Maruti Victoris. It uses Hyundai's latest Art of Steel design language. The cabin is shared with the Brazil-spec i20. Bookings are already open.

Toyota has launched the 2026 Glanza facelift in India. Prices start at Rs 6.99 lakh, ex-showroom. You can pick from five trims: E, S, G, V and V (O). The hatchback gets a revised front end and a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine. Both petrol and CNG versions come with a manual or an AMT gearbox. It also gets new features like ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger and an ADAS suite.

Mahindra has launched the XUV 3XO CNG at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Bookings and deliveries start on October 20, 2026. Mahindra offers the CNG kit with the 1.2-litre MPFI turbo-petrol engine. In both petrol and CNG modes, it makes 111hp and 200Nm. Mahindra says it got there by optimising the turbocharger calibration and the ECU mapping. The system switches to petrol on its own when the CNG runs low. You get a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the claimed mileage is 24.7km/kg.

Honda India will debut the production version of the 0 Alpha EV on December 2. Honda revealed the 0 Alpha SUV concept in October 2025. This production model will be the brand's first all-electric vehicle for India. A heavily camouflaged prototype was also spotted testing on Indian roads recently.

Stellantis will invest about Rs 4,000 crore (around 400 million euros) over the next three years. That will take its total investment in India to about Rs 15,000 crore by 2030.

Tesla has revealed a pre-production version of its electric sports car, the Roadster. Production begins in 2028. You can choose a standard Performance trim, or add a Thrust or Rocket package. Tesla calls these packages augments.

Royal Enfield has launched a special edition of the Classic 650, called the Hypershift. It celebrates the Chennai-based brand's 125th anniversary. The price is Rs 4.26 lakh. Royal Enfield will sell only 125 units in each of its key markets, and India is one of them. So you can't simply walk into a showroom. You need to register first. Registrations open today, October 16. They close on October 28, which is also when sales begin.
