It wasn’t the prettiest of games at the Swansea.com last night but it had everything for the football neutral in the first north v south high level competitive fixture of this season. And if anyone wants the proof the goals alone will tell you a story.
The game later today at Oxford United is a test of character, and no doubt of how fearless the mind must be to take on a challenge and meet it head on. That test which wasn’t taken at Coventry comes tonight at the Kassam Stadium. We can only hope so because there will be a big welcome from the Indy within the sold out Swansea support for sure.

Of course we all want the Swans to win every game but there will those who leave Sincil Bank tomorrow happy with a point. That’s how big a test this is for Vitor Matos and his Swansea City side this weekend.
Swansea City’s Eom Ji-sung is one victory away from potentially removing one of the biggest complications hanging over his long-term football career. South Korea U23 face Japan in the Asian Games final on Saturday, with a gold medal at stake. For Eom, however, the prize could be far more significant than another international honour.
