Pow day? Check. Spring laps with puddles all the way down? Check. Olympic big air jump? Check. The Do-Si-Do comes from the brain of Stefi Luxton along with the Armada Snow crew and was put to the test all last season with the team. The graphic was even tested by the riders with the actual scarf (created by Minneapolis artist Bella Jayne) that is featured on the base and topsheet being sent around to wear while riding, traveling, and more. ITS A REAL BACKSTORY THAT IS FUNCTIONAL AND DOPE. Armada put together a quick video with Stefi and Egan to give you a taste of the possibilities of the product. Check it out and head on over to the site if it fits your style. It is kind of like one size fits all, but more all styles fit one.
This time of year is better than Christmas. Sure, you might have to wait until the holidays to get the new board, but right now you get to see everything with fresh eyes and possibilities. The latest tech, graphics, and shapes could all be yours. But what to choose? Well, we will be diving in on these new decks as the Fall progresses but right now is just all about first impressions. Salomon dropped a ton of new graphics alongside some new shapes this winter, and let’s just say if the temps were colder, the drool would be frozen to our keyboards. A new Highpath design, the new Indicator added to the freeride-centric Hillside project, a No Drama dropping with no notes, new art on the team favorite Abstract and Sleepwalker, Wolle’s HPS line getting a new look… IT’S ALL GOOD! Enjoy the views and head over to the Salomon site for more info. Photos by Erik Hoffman, Perly, and Joseph Roby.
Rome has been in the lab tinkering with some new tech, and we aren’t talking about AI. Fast entry, freestyle specific, tuned up by the Rome team over the past season. Check out the new men and women’s Volt Fase bindings complete with a single piece chassis and Rome’s world class straps for an even flex and feel like no other.

RIDE SNOWBOARDS COMES OUT SWINGING. Red Ceiling has everything you want in a street project. Travel, spots, AND A SHOT FROM A TRAIN TIMED UP PERFECTLY. What else could you want? Jed Anderson and Jacob Krugmire. Enjoy. Filmed and edited by Parrish Isaacs.
Those in Ohio fondly reminisce about K2’s Emerald Necklace project, and now the crew consisting of Jesse Jarrett, Kennedi Deck, Noah Peterson, Jake Kuzyk, and Aito Ito give something for the state slightly to the left and north to celebrate. Enjoy Deer Camp.
The last time I saw Hayden Tyler snowboarding in person, he was flying over a a massive jump at Bear Mountain at a very young age, impressing the hell out of us all. Now, he is much older, it isn’t in person, but it is still impressing the hell out of us all. Edited by Hayden and Cole Levy, the project spans the last year riding in Japan, Colorado, Oregon, and Utah with friends. Enjoy.
I was with Jesse Augustinus when he won his first X Games medal. He has always deserved more recognition in my eyes. Insanely talented, a critical eye for style, and rumor has it can whip up quite the meal on a trip. Check out the Northbound part and keep an eye on what he has going on this winter!
The Finland street scene is alive and well. It always has been, but this is just a nice reminder of that. Kiril Rikkilä, Juuse Komsi, Joona Saikkonen, Pat Fava (not from Finland), Roope Rautiainen, Toni Kerkelä, Sami Luhtanen, Eero Ettala, Livia Tanno, and Simon Gschaider enjoy a quick family vacation for Lapland.
