Jurors who are deciding the case of a 21-year-old Brownsville man of fatally shooting a San Benito police officer following an hourslong pursuit three years ago began deliberating at 11:10 a.m. Thursday.

Jurors on Thursday found Rogelio Martinez, the 21-year-old man accused in the fatal shooting of San Benito police Lt. Milton Resendez, guilty of capital murder.
