Matthew Choi's coverage primarily focuses on local and national political events, particularly those related to Texas politics. Given his emphasis on legal policy regulation and government announcements, he is likely to be receptive to pitches that provide expert insights into ongoing legislative developments in Texas or significant federal policies that impact the state.
Choi's interest in specific politicians and their actions suggests he may appreciate pitches providing unique perspectives or insider information related to key figures like Dan Crenshaw, Troy Nehls, Chip Roy, and others involved in prominent political issues within Texas.
Pitching stories with a focus on U.S. House of Representatives activities, the Jan. 6 Capitol attack fallout as it pertains to Texas representatives' involvement or reactions could align well with Choi's coverage interests. Additionally, topics related to federal funding affecting Texans would likely resonate based on his past reporting patterns.
