YORK – This week, Derrik Hurley, whose address has been listed in court documents as being both Blue Springs and Beatrice, was sentenced in York County District Court to probation for child abuse.

YORK – Wayne A. Saul, Jr., 52, of York, has been charged with multiple counts in a case where he is accused of assaulting police officers, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and obstruction.

YORK – Christopher Reisdorfer, 48, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has been sentenced to probation in a case which began as charges of felony child abuse and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, a misdemeanor.

YORK – Soon, property owners in the Heartland School District and York County will receive pink postcards in the mail notifying them of a public hearing during which representatives of the two taxing entities will be discussing the need to increase tax asking for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
