Pitching Insights

Melinda's coverage mainly focuses on local sports events, community celebrations, and human interest stories in the Alexandria area of Louisiana. She may be most responsive to pitches related to local sporting events, unique community traditions, art and craftsmanship projects within the region, or heartwarming human-interest stories.

Given her focus on house & home themes and seasonal coverage (such as Christmas celebrations), she might also welcome pitches about local non-profit initiatives that support families or contribute to the local community during specific seasons.

Pitches should emphasize their relevance to the Alexandria area specifically or highlight how they tie into broader trends that are relevant at a national level but have clear significance for Melinda's audience.
