The city of Frisco has approved nearly $4.68 million in contracts for the construction of Frisco on the Green. During an Aug. 18 meeting, the Frisco City Council approved two separate contracts for the park's construction, one for general park construction and site improvements and one for the construction of a playground. At a previous meeting, city officials said a key feature planned for the park is a large pavilion with a waterside lookout and deck.
