Pitching Insights

Pip Ellwood-Hughes predominantly covers entertainment news, including TV shows, music releases, and film awards. Given the high percentage of event coverage and private sector announcements in his articles, he is likely to respond well to pitches related to exclusive events or new releases within the entertainment industry.

As Pip's coverage involves a significant number of press releases and reviews, he may be interested in receiving information about upcoming entertainment-related events or products that are available for review. If you have access to pre-release content or can offer an early look at an anticipated release within the realms of TV shows, music, films or gaming - then showcasing this exclusivity in your pitch could increase its appeal.

While there isn't a specified geographic focus for Pip's coverage, it would be beneficial to offer insights into global trends within the entertainment industry given his broad scope.

Review: ‘A Brief Affair' is a relationship drama with a few tricks up its sleeve

Review: ‘A Brief Affair' is a relationship drama with a few tricks up its sleeve

By: Meta Time, Pip Ellwood-Hughes

‘A Brief Affair' from Italian film-maker Ludovica Rampoldi sets itself up to be a modern day ‘Fatal Attraction'. The initial meeting between Rocco and Lea seems perfectly innocent – they just happen to be two strangers at the same place at the same time. Their first kiss makes them both question their behaviour but things aren't quite as simple as they seem. Lea is convinced that her actor husband Andrea (Andrea Carpenzano) is cheating on her with another woman, while Rocco has grown weary of his stagnant marriage to therapist Cecilia (Valeria Golino).
