Chinese automotive giant Geely is set to manufacture electric vehicles (EVs) at Ford Motor Company's underutilized factory in Valencia, Spain, marking a significant milestone in the company's European expansion strategy. The agreement, announced by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on July 23, gives Geely its first vehicle production base within the European Union, allowing the company to assemble cars inside the bloc rather than export them from China.
