The midterms this cycle are as confusing as the new world order is in general. Historically, the midterms have never been good for the sitting President. In the last 50 years, the President has maintained Congress's support only once, for the first four years in office. Carter is the only President in this 50-year window whose Party kept both chambers after the first midterm election (1978). It is hard to justify that anomaly with possibly the worst President ever, double-digit inflation, 15% mortgage rates, and a floundering country.

Trump has his new haircut, new blue suit, a couple of dozen red ties, and a fueled-up Air Force One. He is ready for the most important month of the last ten years. President Donald Trump will embark on a 30-day cross- country rally-a-day schedule with the sole purpose of pushing enough Republican Congressional candidates across the finish line to preserve, or increase, the majority in both houses and therefore the legacy of what I think the critics will eventually have to admit was the most consequential and productive Presidency in American history.

Karyann Parkinson is not someone you will hear about on the nightly news, and certainly does not appear on any ICE wanted posters. According to one of her narco-neighbors, Karyann Parkinson is one dangerous woman who may not deserve to keep her children. Virginia is technically not a sanctuary state, so there are certain places that Karyann may not be able to venture, and that includes the hallowed halls of justice of the messed up Commonwealth of Virginia.

It was a dark night on April 18, 1775, and the path was lonely and dangerous as Paul Revere mounted his horse in the little town of Lexington outside Boston. He rode through the woods and small hamlets on small roads lit only by the moon to let the good people of Massachusetts, including the volunteer soldiers along the way, know that the British were descending on the country and, more significantly, Boston by sea. The British enforcement of the King's wishes by the most powerful military force on the planet was underway, and only the ragtag group of Patriots stood in their path. If not for Paul Revere and his courageous act, the British would have conquered the people of Massachusetts in their sleep.

I moved to New Hampshire from Massachusetts 45 years ago because the Granite State was a solid red state then and more aligned with my conservative beliefs.

I watched and listened intently to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's Facebook reel where he talks about his thoughts on the tragedy of 9/11. Mamdani is a lousy mayor, but a great actor. You can almost hear sincerity in his tone and words, but knowing what he has said in the past and what his close advisors and associates have said, you know it is made for TV, worthy of an award. It really is sickening and disheartening to realize how hypocritical the Left can be, and 9/11 brings out the worst.

Politics should not be an emotional arena. There should be opposing policies and views, debate, compromise, and results – hopefully in the best interest of the people. The two things that can stir emotion, even anger, are insincerity and outright lying. Both of these are associated with Congresswoman Sandy Cortez far too frequently, and it would serve the country well if her supporters would see past the packaging and foam peanuts to what is really in the box. Sandy Cortez is a below-average member of Congress and does not deserve a place in the upper chamber or the Oval Office. Either could happen in the near future, and that would be too bad for New York or America.
