The Trump administration, for its part, has described the lawsuit as a bad-faith effort to “enable further ICC overreach.”

Attorneys for Warner Bros. Discovery claim that “Amazon has chosen to ride on the coattails of other well-established Hollywood mainstays such as Plaintiffs” by poaching their employees “rather than buid[ing] its entertainment-production workforce from the ground up.”

“Despite knowing that El Salvador’s Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (‘CECOT’) mega-prison was a notorious blacksite, from which no detainee had ever left alive, Defendants went to great lengths to transport Plaintiffs and Class Members there, in concert with the US government, in flagrant violation of U.S. and international law,” the lawsuit alleges.

But once again, this Administration is moving in the wrong direction by adopting harmful provisions that push consumers into bare-bones plans and strip away critical protections,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta said in a statement. “

“Congress did not confer a general auditing power to the DOJ over state election officials,” the judge said.

The revised guidance re-categorizes delta-8 as a controlled substance, making it illegal for most businesses to continue selling delta-8-containing products. The same restriction extends to hemp-derived THC products, including both delta-8 and delta-10.

“The transaction patterns identified by Capital One are among the types of activity flagged by federal banking guidance,” Capital One said.

Stevenson’s boat, the lawsuit says, “literally flew over the top of [Telmni’s watercraft] and, in the process, one or more of the outboard sterndrives, pontoon tubes, or attached propellers did, in fact, cause a decapitation injury, thus killing Plaintiff Magdalena Jablonska, and causing physical and mental injuries to Plaintiff, Alan Telmni.”

Earlier this week, a federal judge dismissed an equal protection claim against an Arkansas state ban on “indoctrination” in public schools while ordering an additional briefing on whether the law itself is unconstitutionally vague.
