Singapore has launched an investigation into antiIndia racist comments shared online after Nepal floods and Singapore Airlines' investment in Air India, Minister K Shanmugam confirmed. Five people aged 2966 have been questioned. Shanmugam called the comments 'shameful' while Singapore High Commissioner to India, Simon Wong, said, 'There is no room for such vitriol in our multiracial society.'

After the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max's launch, Apple has hiked the prices of iPhone 17 and iPhone Air. The 256 GB model of iPhone 17 will now cost ₹99,900, which was launched at ₹82,900. iPhone Air 256 GB price has been hiked from ₹1,19,900 to ₹1,49,900. iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max has been discontinued.

A tickborne virus has been discovered in China, including in Wuhan, where COVID19 broke out, reports said. The virus, named Asian longhorned tick nairovirus ALTNV, can cause flulike illness, fatigue, and gastrointestinal symptoms. It was detected in as many as 329 patients. The five baby orangutans, who were rescued from a forest in Odisha, have been listening to Indian classical music. An official said they held discussions with biologists and referred to research. 'We found that playing them classical music, the kind that we play in our homes in the mornings, would be helpful for their stress,' the official added.
