The second day of the Ecole Mont-Olivet Lausanne Grand Slam 2026 delivered another packed programme in the Olympic capital. Alongside the historic deaf judo competition, the race towards LA28 continued in the women’s -63kg and -70kg categories and the men’s -73kg and -81kg divisions. Europe remained firmly at the heart of the action, collecting medals across all four categories and adding two golds through Angelika Szymanska (POL) and Miriam Butkereit (GER), while Switzerland had its own reason to celebrate thanks to a home bronze for Aurelien Bonferroni.
