Council members declared assessment costs and called for the public hearings during their meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8. All hearings are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at City Hall. The hearings are a time for assessed property owners to give testimony either in support or opposition of their proposed assessment and to formally contest the assessment if they wish.
