Pitching Insights
Todd Sommerfeldt's coverage primarily focuses on local high school sports events, particularly wrestling and basketball. He dedicates over half of his articles to event coverage, making him likely to be interested in pitches related to upcoming local sport events or tournaments, exceptional athlete profiles, or unique behind-the-scenes access.
Given the strong focus on specific matches and events in Wisconsin and La Crosse, he is more likely to respond positively to localized stories that directly impact the community. Pitches should emphasize their relevance to the local area.
As Todd covers a variety of high school sports such as wrestling and basketball, offering insights into emerging talent or trends in these areas could also be appealing for his coverage.
