Lando Norris produced a stunning lap to snatch pole position for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix, pipping Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli by one-hundredth of a second. But McLaren’s world champion afterwards joined other drivers in questioning Madrid’s new circuit, in particular the length of the pit lane, which Norris said felt as if it was “six kilometres long”.
