I sat here the afternoon before last Thursday's visit by the Communities in Bloom judges and wondered what on earth they would think of the results of all that rain, and what it has done to yards and gardens. When frequent rains even keep you from mowing your lawn and you can't go on your garden or into your flowerbeds to weed them, it's very difficult to have a yard you can be proud to show off to anyone, let alone judges.
