Meta has reached an agreement with a bipartisan group of 52 attorneys general across U.S. states, territories, and Washington, D.C., that will introduce a sweeping set of new protections for users under 18 on Instagram and Facebook. The agreement has received judicial approval, and most of its provisions are required to remain in place for 10 years.
