York allegedly contacted the undercover officer twice last Saturday, and reached out a third time on Sunday after his he didn’t get a response to the first two messages. After the third message from York, the undercover officer offered to meet York in East Palestine, according to the incident report.York was initially charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools before he accepted a plea deal that changed the prostitution charge to a disorderly conduct charge. York was absent from the NFL team owners’ meeting on Wednesday, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league was reviewing the incident.The 49ers owner filed for divorce in May of this year after a nearly 15 year marriage with his wife Danielle. The couple share two children.York’s connection to the 49ers goes back generations as his grandfather owned the franchise for 23 years before passing ownership onto York’s parents, who in turn, passed the torch to York. The wealthy businessman is also a co-owner of Premier League club Leeds United and Scottish Premiership club Rangers.
