Heule Precision Tool presents COFA tooling for automated through hole deburring applications, including those on sloped or uneven surfaces. This unique technology uses a carbide blade to remove burrs from the front and back of a drilled through-hole in a single pass, without stopping or reversing the spindle. The edge break is always even and consistent – across a wide spectrum of metals and alloys – whether the surface is even, elliptical, or sloped. Automating the deburring processes for hard-to-reach cross burrs which were formerly deburred manually, significantly shortens cycle times and improves efficiency. Carbide blades extend tool life and maintain edge sharpness, reducing downtime. COFA tooling performs well in both manual and CNC environments, as well as live-spindle lathes, and robotic automation cells—operating reliably with or without cutting fluid. A variety of sizes, from 2-30mm (0.79-1.19”), are available from stock for immediate delivery from the Cincinnati area warehouse.
