The Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing is rare as it is. Even rarer are examples optioned with the NSL engine, Rudge wheels, and sports springs and shock absorbers. Add in the fact that it's almost 100% original, and that makes this 1956 one-of-a-kind. It was in the same ownership from 1961 to 2014, when it was sold and the new owner put it inside a plastic storage bubble. Its current owner, in a coincidence, happens to live at the same Parisian address as its first. Specialist Klaus Kukuk carried out an inspection of the car and found that aside from two small areas with slightly thicker paint, it was completely original, down to its 1956-era license plates. With a patinated natural leather interior that's as original as the exterior and mechanics, it's an incredibly rare piece of automotive history and is coming up for sale as part of Artcurial's Automobile Legends on January 27th.

Vollebak's Martian Aerogel Jacket Elysium Blue edition is built from materials whose day job involves surviving deep space. Its outer shell is woven from hypersonic parachute fabric used to land probes on Titan and the latest Rover on Mars, while the insulation inside is a newly developed aerogel created by the same team engineering heat shields for the next Mars Rover. The aerogel delivers lightweight, breathable insulation. Now, 846 days after its original launch - the same time to go from Earth to Mars twice - Vollebak introduces the first Elysium Blue edition, turning aerospace hardware into functional outerwear built for Earth's most extreme conditions.

Inspired by a historic Heuer Seafarer model produced for Abercrombie & Fitch, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer is a modern take on a timeless curiosity. As the name suggests, it sports a tide indicator on the 9 o'clock subdial, which gets light teal and yellow accents to both call out the original and provide contrast to the opaline champagne dial. 18k 3N yellow gold plating on the applied indices and handset provides a complementary touch, while the date window at 6 o'clock adds utility. The 42mm stainless steel case features dual pump pushers on the right and a "TIDE" pusher on the left; it's capped by a glassbox-style sapphire crystal. Powered by a Calibre TH20-04 automatic movement, it sits on a seven-link bracelet.

With over 120billion sold since its debut in 1950, the BIC Cristal is the world's best-selling pen. Bringing its 75th anniversary celebrations to a close is this lamp, made in collaboration with Seletti. It maintains the iconic design, but sized up to a 12:1 ratio, with a glowing LED light replacing the ink inside. The massive scale gives the piece both a sense of whimsy and draws attention to the brilliance of the design; the lamp will be available in the US later this year in floor, pendant, or wall-mounted versions, in the classic black, blue, or red colors.

The original Tiffany & Co. Timing Watch, later renamed the "Timer", was a chronograph pocket watch introduced in 1866. 160 years later, it serves as the inspiration for the Tiffany Timer Watch. This modern timepiece has a 40mm platinum case with a Tiffany Blue lacquer dial that's comprised of 15 layers and takes over two days to complete. The dial is adorned with baguette diamond indexes, with three sub-dials and a date window at 6 o'clock, all in matching Tiffany Blue. Powering the watch is a Zenith-made El Primero 400 chronograph movement, visible through the sapphire caseback, which also shows a solid 18-karat gold sculpture of the house mascot, a version of Jean Schlumberger's Bird on a Rock, perched on the open-worked winding rotor. Limited to just 60 pieces, it sits on a taupe alligator leather strap.

Rarely does "Korea" come to mind when thinking of a Ferrari. Yet this Tailor Made 12Cilindri Coupe draws inspiration from the region. It was developed over the course of two years, with input from Cool Hunting founders Evan Orensten and Josh Rubin, project curator JaeEun "Jane" Lee, and the Ferrari design and R&D teams, leading to novel features like a transitional Yoonseul paint scheme inspired by Korean tradition that changes from blue to green. Four Korean artists contributed their unique talents to the project, including a new 3-D fabric and a roof screenprinting based on the hand-woven creations of Dahye Jeong and translucent elements on the Scuderia Ferrari shields, wheel caps, center tunnel, and trunk cases from Hyunhee Kim. TaeHyun Lee, known for work in white lacquer, is responsible for the white brake calipers and paddle shifters, while audio duo GRAYCODE, jiiiiin, translated the V12 engine's sound into a visual artwork masterfully rendered on the vehicle's bodywork by Maranello's artisans. As a Tailor Made build, it's one-of-a-kind.
