RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio Missing property: Washington Drive A resident reported Aug. 25 that his vehicle had been stolen from his home.

MAYFIELD, Ohio Fraud: SOM Center Road Officers responded to Citizen's Bank Aug. 28 for a report of a man trying to fraudulently cash a $2,300 business check.

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- A woman, 87, said Sept. 2 that she accidentally left her wallet in her cart when she left Walmart earlier and found that it had been turned in, but was missing $247 in cash.

A woman came to the station with her daughter Sept. 3 to report that the girl had been assaulted at Wendy’s earlier that day.

A woman reported Sept. 1 that her vehicle was stolen from the Parkview apartments on Richmond Park Drive East. She said that she was visiting family at the apartments when she received a call from Euclid police asking if she was currently driving in that city.

Giant Eagle management said Sept. 7 that a man had been coming to the store for at least a week and making inappropriate comments to the staff when they arrived in the mornings.

A resident reported at 12:21 a.m. Aug. 30 that he returned home to find a shirtless and shoeless man on his property.

Officers assisted a motorist in jump-starting his vehicle that was stopped along the roadway Sept. 2.

An employee of a veterinary clinic reported Sept. 4 that she was the victim of a scam while at work. She said that she received a call from somebody claiming to be with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office advising her that a warrant had been issued for her arrest for missing jury duty.

A caller said Sept. 2 that she saw a blue Subaru strike a parked vehicle in the Aladdin’s parking lot and leave the scene without stopping. The suspect’s vehicle was identified through its registration and found to belong to a Mayfield Heights resident.
