Despite heavy rain and a muddy, challenging course, the Chiefs rose to the occasion, bringing home a state champion and a historic team finish.

ECI Bulldogs Down Tigers

Emanuel County Institute opened region football play last night with a victory on a rare Thursday night game: 42 to 8 playing in Twin City against the Claxton Tigers. The Bulldogs led at the half 42 to zero and came back to a running clock with a team of young players to rest the starters for the two more region games on their schedule next week. Both on the road: Tuesday night at 6:30 for McIntosh County Academy, and next Friday at 7:30 at Montgomery County.
