The Roland high school and junior high runners, along with two Brushy JH ountry runners and the Central junior high runners, competed at last Thursday's Gore Invitational, which took place at Steve Owens Sports Complex.

WARNER — Muldrow football coach Logan Coatney was very pleased with his Bulldogs regarding how they did in their final preseason scrimmage last Thursday night against the host Warner Eagles and the Eufaula Ironheads.

It was a rough week for the Gans Lady Grizzlies last week as they lost all four games played. The Lady Grizzlies started the week off with an 8-2 loss to the host Leflore Savages on Aug. 24.

The Roland Lady Rangers softball team went 3-1 last week. The Lady Rangers started the week with a 6-4, eight-inning, road District 3A-6 win over the Westville Lady Yellowjackets on Aug. 25.

For the second time within a week's time, the Central Lady Tigers routed the Hulbert Lady Riders, this time by the score of 21-0 in a threeinning, run-rule District 2A-12 game on Sept. 1.

It was a rough week of softball for the Muldrow Lady Bulldogs last week as they lost both of their District 4A-6 games.

The Roland Lady Rangers entered the Labor Day Weekend going 3-1 last week. The Lady Rangers started the week with an 18-2, six-inning, District 3A-6 road rout over the host Spiro Lady Bulldogs on Aug. 31.

MIDWEST CITY — The Central Lady Tigers cross country team won the Class A-2A girls team title at last Thursday's Midwest City Carl Albert Invitational.

Several local runners competed at the Carl Albert State College/ Poteau Invitational, which took place Aug. 28.

The Gans Lady Grizzlies ended last week on a high note as they swept Schulter on the road by scores of 15-0 in three innings and 15-1 in three innings.
