Retiring Jenkins County Emergency Services (EMS) Director Henry Young is honoring those whom he said are the “forefathers” of the EMS service with a Memorial Plaque on display in the EMS center: Wayne Fields, Billy Bragg, John W. Williams, David Adams, Larry Thompson, Alvin Burke, Jerry Murdock, and Dr. A.P. Mulkey. Young, also listed on the plaque, is retiring Aug.
