Ambala: INLD's young MLA from Rania, Arjun Singh Chautala, said that inflation, corruption, unemployment, and crime have become rampant since the BJP government came to power. Chautala was addressing a meeting of workers from the Ambala City constituency at the Panchayat Bhawan, Ambala City on Sunday morning. He invited them to the Samman Diwas rally in Nuh on September 27th, marking Devi Lal's birth anniversary, and criticized the BJP government as well as former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. In his address, Arjun Chautala said that every section of the state is unhappy and distressed under the BJP government, and therefore, everyone wants to change this government.

Naraingarh: National President of Punjabi Mahasabha Ashok Kumar Mehta, a senior Congress leader and former Haryana Information Commissioner addressing a press conference here today expressed deep concern over the demolition of the nearly 200-year-old historic Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Balochistan (Pakistan), angering the entire Punjabi community in the country. He stated that this is an attempt to destroy the heritage of Punjabis in Pakistan, and India's Modi government should raise this issue with the Pakistani government and an independent investigation should be conducted.

Panipat: Floods in Nepal have caused a major blow to Panipat's textile industry, disrupting trade worth Rs 450 crore halting fresh orders. Demand for products like blankets and towels has been worst affected since the impact of the situation not returning to normal after the floods in Nepal is now being felt by the Panipat textile industry. The Nepal market has not yet received new orders for blankets, towels, bedsheets, rugs, carpets, throws, and woolen floor coverings. Many of these products are supplied to hotels, home furnishings, and domestic use.

Minister Vij quipped that Deepender Hooda should consult a good doctor and get his eyeglasses replaced.

Kaithal: Police raided an unnamed spa center on Dhand Road in Kaithal and detained six women involved in immoral activities. During the search police recovered stocks of indecent material. During this operation, six young women were detained from the center's rooms. It was reported that the detained women are residents of Uttar Pradesh, Jalandhar, Amritsar, and Noida. Police are investigating the matter by questioning all of them. Immoral material has also been recovered from the scene.

Narnaul: 376 cartons of illicit liquor worth over Rs 20 lakh seized in Narnaul. Two smugglers were arrested in smuggling Illicit liquor of value worth over Rs 20 lakh seized. The seized liquor includes 250 cartons of RC Puwa, 46 cartons of Party Special Puwa, 29 cartons of Party Special Puwa plastic, 50 cartons of All Season Puwa, and one carton of Star Gold Puwa; Two smugglers were arrested.

Hisar: The NICDC Haryana Integrated Manufacturing Cluster Hisar Project Limited (NHIMCHPL) has floated tender for the development of trunk infrastructure at the proposed IMC in Hisar under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC). As per the tender details, the project will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis and cover the design, construction, testing, commissioning and operation and maintenance of the cluster's trunk infrastructure with the estimated project cost is Rs 707 crore (excluding operation and maintenance (O&M) costs and GST). The proposed Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) is a major upcoming industrial hub in Haryana being developed under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC) by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) in collaboration with the Government of Haryana, spread across 2,988 acres near the newly inaugurated Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar with the project cost Rs 4,680 crore having investment potential: Rs 32,417 crore expected to create over 1.25 lakh (125,000) employment opportunities having connectivity to National Highway (NH-9) and National Highway 52 (NH-52), with multimodal links to the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors.
